Adv. Aditya Bothra is a Real Estate Partner at Lex Arjava Law Firm, with a focused practice encompassing real estate, redevelopment, corporate and commercial advisory, transactional matters and dispute resolution. Prior to joining Lex Arjava Law Firm, he was associated with a leading law firm, where he handled end-to-end legal and advisory matters relating to redevelopment projects. His practice involved advising cooperative housing societies and other stakeholders on the legal, commercial and procedural aspects of redevelopment, including drafting and negotiating Development Agreements, Permanent Alternate Accommodation (PAA) Agreements and Powers of Attorney; conducting title due diligence; preparing Title Reports; drafting society resolutions; and advising societies in General Body and Managing Committee meetings.

He has advised on and handled large-scale redevelopment projects with project values ranging from approximately ₹600 crore to ₹1,500 crore, involving cooperative housing societies comprising approximately 1,000 to 1,200 members. His experience extends across society redevelopment, cluster redevelopment, MHADA projects, freehold land transactions and other complex real estate matters. He has been involved in matters requiring careful consideration of title, contractual, regulatory, commercial and stakeholder-related issues, with an emphasis on protecting client interests while facilitating practical and commercially viable transaction structures.

Before his association with the law firm, Adv. Bothra served as In-House Counsel with a listed company, where he gained substantial experience in corporate and commercial legal advisory. In this role, he was involved in the drafting, review and negotiation of a broad range of commercial and corporate agreements, including Rate Contracts, Joint Venture Agreements and other commercial arrangements. He also worked closely with business teams in providing corporate advisory, legal risk assessment and commercially oriented guidance, enabling him to understand legal issues from both transactional and business perspectives.

Adv. Bothra also has experience in dispute resolution and legal proceedings, including drafting and reviewing legal notices, pleadings and other legal documents, attending court proceedings, participating in settlement discussions and advising on recovery-related matters. His dispute-resolution experience complements his transactional practice and enables him to identify potential contentious issues at an early stage and incorporate appropriate risk-mitigation strategies into commercial and real estate transactions.
